Churchbridge

The town of Churchbridge is adjacent to the rich potash mines of east central Saskatchewan, and is surrounded by fertile farmlands that supports mixed farming operations. The proximity to the potash mines provides great employment opportunities for the community.

Located at the junction of Highways 18, 8 and 80, the town has a population of 934. The predominant economic activity in Churchbridge is agriculture and mining. Several registered seed growers are located in the Churchbridge area.

The community offers many amenities, including a campground, pool, several playgrounds, hockey rink and curling rink, both with artificial ice.

The senior population is served by senior housing and homecare services. An active drop-in centre provides recreational and cultural activities for seniors.

The Churchbridge Community Development Committee provides small business loans to new business, while enhancing and helping existing businesses.
