The RM has a population of 567.

Students in the area are bused to Yorkton, Canora, Invermay, Foam Lake and Theodore schools.

The local tax rate is 32.5 mills (12.5 municipal mills, 20 education mills).

The main economic activity for the area is agriculture. Specialty farms such as a strawberry and saskatoon berry u-pick farms, and a hog barn are some of the businesses operating in the RM.
